Extension & Enrichment

Students have a wide variety of Enrichment and Extension opportunities available to them over their two years at Pasadena, which form part of our Gifted & Talented programme.

Our Extension & Enrichment programmes are responsive to the needs and interests of our students, while also aligning to our Strategic Goals, with new and adapted programmes developing throughout the year. Each year different Courses are developed and run by teachers and external facilitators to target different facets of the curriculum, including academic subjects such as Writing and Mathematics, Specialist areas, as well as Cultural and Sporting contexts.

Selection criteria are dependent on the purpose of the programme, with student-selected, teacher-nominated, and data-driven options all available. Sign-ups for Extension and Enrichment groups happen each term through the notices, these start in about Week 5 of Term 1.

Different opportunities are available each year and term, depending on the strengths, needs and interests of our students.
