Principals’ News

Our teachers have been diligently preparing our students for the upcoming camp, scheduled for next week. This year marks an exciting milestone as we venture to Tui Ridge Camp in Hamurana, Rotorua for the first time. Situated amidst picturesque surroundings, Tui Ridge Camp offers excellent facilities, including a wide array of engaging activities and fantastic accommodation and dining options.

Education Outside the Classroom plays a vital role in the New Zealand Curriculum, which is often overlooked. Given the challenges posed by Covid in recent years, this camp presents a unique opportunity for many of our students to partake in activities they may not have experienced before.

A big thank you to the numerous parents who volunteered their time to assist with the camp. While we cannot accommodate everyone, we warmly welcome those who wish to visit for the day.

We look forward to a fantastic week filled with adventure and learning opportunities.

Overseas Trip Meeting

On Wednesday, 27th March, at 6.30 pm, we will have a meeting to outline the two overseas trips to Vanuatu and Japan, which will take place in 2024.

At the meeting, an outline of each trip, the application process, and the cost will be shared.

The Japan trip will occur from the 25th of June to the 6th of July, with the Vanuatu trip going from the 21st to the 28th of August. Please note that the dates may move a day or two due to flight availability.
