Teacher in Room 13

Kia ora, My name is Rangimarie Maxted and I am teaching in Room 13. I am a Mainlander born in the deep south but spent most of my time in Blenheim, Marlborough where my family still has a strong affiliation. Having taught for a number of years in Primary and Secondary schools throughout Aotearoa (you know this when you are now teacher children of your ex-students), my spare time is spent with my whānau both here and in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, following my children around the sports fields, performing kapa haka and relaxing on some of our beautiful beaches. My interests are in Sports, Performing Arts and I have a high interest in Student Agency, helping students to be self-motivated & to succeed with their goals both in and out of school. I am looking forward to another year here at Pasadena and getting to know my students and their families throughout the year. Mauriora, Rangimarie (known as Whaea Rangimarie).
