My name is Amanda Kemp and this is my seventh year teaching. Before embarking on a new adventure at Pasadena Intermediate this year, I spent six years teaching Year 5 and 6 at Arahoe Primary School. As a teacher, I believe relationships are everything and I build a classroom culture based on inclusion, integrity, positivity and space for all to feel safe.
Outside of school, I spend my time being active by playing tennis and social touch, going to the gym and snowboarding in winter. I enjoy spending time socialising with friends and family and when not confined to New Zealand I love exploring new countries.
