DEPUTY PRINCIPAL

Kia ora koutou, I’m Mary Pretorius, the Deputy Principal and SENCO here at Pasadena Intermediate. I’m passionate about empowering all learners to achieve success and guiding students on their journey to becoming lifelong learners. I am focussed on developing student wellbeing and agency and skills, such as collaboration, creativity, and curiosity. I believe a student’s learning pathway is an on-going process that is strengthened by building strong relationships and making positive connections between home and school. I feel privileged to be part of our wonderful school community here at Pasadena. Outside of school, I love hanging out with my partner Nick and cat, Jose, reading, going to the beach and F45.
