ROOM 14 Teacher

Email: kirsten@pasadena.school.nz

Hi, my name is Kirsten Hudson and I will be teaching in room 14 this year. This will be my third year teaching at Pasadena intermediate. Before Pasadena, I worked in Wellington for four years, where I had been teaching at year 4 – 6 levels. Previous to teaching I attended university in America on a water polo scholarship and was inducted into the colleges Sports Hall of Fame. My teaching philosophy is to create an environment where every student feels successful in their learning. I believe that student voice, agency, choice and independence are the essential tools that an intermediate student needs to invent themselves and will help them to be ready for their future years of education.
