This will be my 5th year of teaching at Pasadena Intermediate School and it has been fantastic to see the growth and progress of the school within that time. I live locally in Point Chevalier and my own daughter is a Yr 8 student here. I’m married to Astrud and we moved to New Zealand from London 12 years ago.

My personal goal for my classroom is to challenge students and watch them grow socially, emotionally and academically. I want to take students at different levels and see them develop together. Therefore, differentiated group work is the key to having a successful class and is something I value. I want to teach students in a way that gives them room to grow and develop on their own. I will do this by looking at the students’ needs and prepare lessons accordingly. I’m excited about what is happening here at Pasadena and looking forward to the year ahead.
